Pinkeneys development proposals

Uttlesford District Council has submitted plans for three houses on the former car park at Pinkeneys, along with proposals for additional parking spaces.

Chrishall Parish Council held an exhibition of the plans on Wednesday 4th August 2010 followed by an extraordinary Parish Council Meeting to determine the Parish Council’s responses to these applications. The Parish Council meeting also considered the planning application for 30 High Street.

The point was made strongly at the meeting that, while the Parish Council is willing to write on behalf of the village, villagers should make their own comments in addition if they feel strongly about an application. The more letters the planners receive concerning an application the more likely they are
to heed the strength of local feeling.

The application reference for the proposed houses is UTT/1191/10/FUL and for the proposed additional parking spaces is UTT/1302/10/DC.
